Terms of Use (draft)

These terms apply to Defense Contractor Feed (the “Service”), provided by Flo Media LLC (“we”). By subscribing, you (“Customer”) agree to them.

  1. Business use only

    The Service is sold only to businesses, for business-to-business sales, marketing, and market research. Consumers can’t subscribe.

  2. No FCRA uses

    The Service isn’t a consumer report and we aren’t a consumer reporting agency. Customer must not use the data, in whole or in part, to decide anyone’s eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, or any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.) or similar state laws.

  3. No CMMC status claims

    CMMC-likelihood flags are estimates based on public award data. They don’t show any company’s actual CMMC certification, assessment, or compliance status. Customer must not tell anyone, or imply, that a company is or isn’t CMMC-compliant based on the Service, and must not use the flags in any assessment or certification decision.

  4. Lawful outreach

    Customer is responsible for following the CAN-SPAM Act, TCPA, state laws, and anti-spam rules in any outreach that uses the data.

  5. License

    Customer gets a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the data internally. Customer can’t resell, republish, or redistribute the data as a dataset. Using it in Customer’s own CRM is fine.

  6. Source data

    The data comes from U.S. government sources. We don’t guarantee it’s accurate, complete, or current. DoD award data publishes about 90 days late.

  7. No warranty; limitation of liability

    The Service is provided “as is.” Our total liability is limited to the fees Customer paid in the 3 months before the claim.

  8. Billing

    Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. You can cancel any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.

  9. No affiliation

    We aren’t affiliated with or endorsed by the Department of Defense, the Cyber AB, GSA, or the U.S. Treasury.

  10. Governing law

    To be decided (TBD) with counsel.
